fornia coast has moved inland and is
' now central over- California. A new
high pressure area has made its ap
pearance in the Canadian northwest and

pearing at sea off the New England
coast Light to moderately heavy rains
have fallen on the Pacific slope as far
south as San Francisco. Heavy rain
has fallen in the southern and heavy
