EASTERN ONIONS ARE
NOW COMING TO COAST
4 The statement of The Journal 4
4 that eastern onions could be and 4
e would be brought to the PaclAo 4
4 coast this year has been con- e
4 Armed. Says Sam Broadus of e
4 this: "I brought a number 4
e of cars of eastern onions to Los 4
4 Angeles the other day at -$2.15 e
4 and they can be landed at any 4 X
4 other point at this prlca There 4 i
4 Is, however, some danger In e i T
4 bringing them out because of 4
4 the cold weather, so dealers on e)
4 the coast will pay a small pre- e
4 mium over eastern figures. Much '
4 beyond the present price there 4
4 Is danger to the eoast growers, e
4 for eastern stock can be brought e
4 in at lower , figures. I bought :
4 several cars myself at 2.2$." o
