today providing heavy penalties for
train wrecking, and defining just what
will be regarded as train wrecking
hereafter. If the bill passes.
It does not refer In any war to neg
ligence upon the part of railroads nor
to defective equipment by railroads.
but merely to such willful or mallolous
tampering' witn railroad equipment or
appliances as results in accident. When
an accident ao caused results In death.
the person convicted is to be convicted
of murder in the first degree. t
Less offenses are to be punishable
with heavy fines and imprisonment for
long penea.
