MOUNT SCOTT FACES
ANNEXATION PE0BLEM
A pusiling problem' in connection with
ths annexation Question has arisen in
Mount flcott because of lack of con
currence between the lines of ths voting
precincts ana the lines or the territory
which it Is proposed to vote Into ths
city next June. No solution has so
far been offered that will satisfactorily
settle the point in the minds or the
Mount Scott voters.
i A great number of voters who live
within the district that it Is proposed
to vots into Portland also live in the
Lent precinct. How these voters will
be distinguished from others who vote
in the same place but live outside the
district to be annexed is tns problem.
