The body of an old man, almost bur
led in the mud, was found at the edge
of Hawthorne lake at the end of East
Tenth street yesterday afternoon. The

ringer, of Tulare county, California, will
locate In Umatilla county to engage in
bee-keeping, and he will produce honey
on a large scale for commercial pur-
goses. He has found a location not far
slow Echo on the Umatilla river which
he thinks is .especially adapted to bee
raising and If terms can be aa-raed unon
he will make that his borne and go Into
the business at once. Mr. Bellinger
says he never, saw a country that was
more naturally adapted to the raising of
bees than is the country along parts of
