son. owing to the fact that there was
much Indignation felt by the people
here over the fact that his son. Harry
F. Johnson, who Is wealthy, had him
placed In an Insane asylum Instead of
some sanatorium and In charge of a
nurse. The public considered the old
geritleman childish and harmless.
Dr. Vincent says In part ' I nave
been In close touch with the case for a
long time and I know what the wife and
son of Dr. Henry B. Johnson haye been
compelled to put up with for the past
six months. In addition to being blind
the old man Is hopelessly Insane and it
requires the constant time and atten
tion of from two to three persons a
day to care for htm properly.
'The proper place for him ?ls in tns
state insane asylum or private sana
torium and of the two I would choose
the state Institution."
