The future can be told. A true clair

The marvelous teats he performs
prove the magnitudes of his strange and
wonderful powers.
Stranirely fascinating are the words
that come from the cultivated llpa of
thla moat interesting man. whose Jour

through all the renowned psychic schools
of Egypt. India and Europe. It seems,
indeed, as if Henry's knowledge must
come from that mysterious world which
we would all Know. yet. longing, cannot

Ha looks as far awav into the dim
mysterious future the great beyond
across tne dark enneru wnicn separates
the human body from the rutting soul
and that which is to be Is told.
The separated are brought together.

BIG BUOY BIISSIXG. ' 1
British Float on SwtfUare Bank Tfa
Disappeared. .
If anyone should find a mammoth. .
gas buoy drifting about, notice should
immediately be forwarded to the Bri
Ish Columbia agency of theVlepartment ,
of marine and fisheries, forVo It doe
it belong. ' . '
The buoy weighs 19 tons and carries - -a
whistle as well as a light, burning
brightly at all times for nine months ;
after having been refilled. It was,
anchored on Swiftsure bank at the en
trance to the straits of Fuca hut es
caped from it fetters during one of the
recent terrifio storms and all efforts to
find it bo far have proved unavailing.
Captain P. J. Werllch, lighthouse In-
spector of this district, received notice
this morning from James Gaudin, agent
of the department of marine and fish- "
cries, with headquarters at Victoria, B.
C. informing him that the large buoy
was reported missing December 28, and
that It would be replaced as soon aa
practicable.- ,
Captain Werllch was pleased to learnt
that the buoy maintained In the same-,
locality by his department is still there-
and in good condition, so that mariners
are not left without aomethlng to warn
them of the approach to the dangerous .
shnrea of Vancouver island to the north. 1
These buoys were placed in position.,
as a result of the terrible Valencia dis
aster a few years ago. Captain Werllch
thinks the buoy has gone ashpra on
Vancouver ialand. :'
RETURNS FROM EAST, ,
David B. Ogden of V. 8. Engineer.
Corps Is Back.. -.'..
David B. Ogden, assistant United '
States engineer corps, returned laat
night from a month's visit in the east. -He
was glad to reach the Oregon -Una
yesterday, for while he enjoyed the out- '
lng immensely, it nevertheless caused
him to think there Is no place like home. ,
"I visited in New York, Boston and
Washing-ton. District of Columbia, and -had
a splendid time among relatives and
friends' attlri Mr. Oirden. "And waa
favored by particularly mild weather. ,
It is a notable fact that the east as . -well
as the west has had very mild ;
weather this winter." . '
Mr. Ogden's trip was In no wise as- -soclated
with his official duties, hence
he returned with no official informa- "
tlon, although a goodly portion of the; -time
was spent with his step-father.
General Mackenzie, chief of the United
States engineer corps.

Neah Bay to Select Land.
District Forecaster ' Edward A. Beals
