Brown, who assaulted and It Is alleged, robbed Joshua Wilbur, a cook, or over $100 last Tuesday night at Seventh and Ankeny, was bound over to the grand jury in the sum of 11,500 yesterday. In default of bail he was remanded to the custody of the sheriff. Joshua Wilbur, the complainant, stated positively that Brown knocked him down and rifled his pockets, but stiid that as he had been drinking heav . lly did not know the exact amount stolen. He was even unable to Identify tne purse iouna on Brown as nis prop erty.
