In Greater New York there are at
least twenty Black Hand centers, each
of which is divided into "paranzaF."
The "masto," or head, of the center di
vides the spoils extorted by the mem
bers of the various paranzas. At the
head of each paranza Is a "si masto."

Each paranza levies Its own tribute
