Waterloo Being Defendant '
Suit an Old Warrant.

Albany, Or.. Aug. 29. The city of
Waterloo has been sued by R. O. Keene
for the recovery of 1(167, alleged to
be due him on warrants Issued on the
treasury of that town and unpaid. The
city government having been abandoned
and no officers elected, the charter of
the city has practically been abrogated.
The last known recorder of the city was
George Stlers of Lacomb and service
will be made on him of a copy of the
complaint and summons.
'Waterloo has had no city govern
ment for the past six years or more and
the city has been allowed to lapse Into

portion of the town and has perfected
