The northern end of the westom
trough of low pressure has developed
into a disturbance of decided character
that la now central over Alberta. It has
caused showers and thunderstorms tn
Washington, Idaho and Montana. Th
Dakota high pressure area has advanced
to Iowa, and a new high pressure area
has made its appearance over western
Oregon. The disturbance over the up
per St. Lawrence valley has dlsaDDeared
at aea off the New England coast. Light
xo moaeraieiy neavy rains nave oc
curred in Colorado, northern Arizona,
ivew Mexico, tne Texas panhandle, Ok
lahoma, western Nebraska, and at scat
tered places In the Allantlo and gulf
states. Temperatures In eastern Ore
gon, eastern Washington, and Idaho
have fallen from eight to 12 degrees
since yesterday.
Indications are for ahowera and thun
derstorms with cooler weather in this
district tonight and tomorrow except
in western Oregon ana western Wash
ington, where fair and warmer weather
may be expected tomorrow.
