WEATHER REPORT
At 11:30 o'clock last night the steam
ship President reported the weather
200 miles south of North Head as fol
lows: Barometer, 30.06; light variable
breese; wealthy cloudy.
The barometer continuea low in the
southwest and the disturbance yester
day over the lake region la now moving
down the St Lawrence valley. A small
high-pressure area overlies the gulf
statea and another la central over the
Dakotaa. The barometer is rising rapid
ly over the north Paclflo states. Show
ers and thunderstorms occurred In
southern Idaho, Arisona, along the north
California coast Texas, Oklahoma,
northern Montana, the upper Ohio val
ley nnd the middle Atlantic states. It
Is cooler in Oregon, southern Idaho and
Nevada and warmer in the Canadian
northwest Temperatures In the New
England and middle Atlantic states are
higher than usual. f
