now central off. the Oregon coast, and
the - rain on the Pacific alope have
practically ceaaed. A local shower,
however, occurred at Boise last night
and on tnch and four hundredth . of
rain fell at that station. A heavy frost
occurred early this morning at Poca-
tello and a llcht froat at KDoKane. The
barometer Ms relatively low along the
entire eastern slop of the Rocky moun
tain and a high pressure area over
lie tn lane region ana tn lower Mis
sissippi vnlley. , The temperature at
the headwater of the Snake and Co
lumbia rivers are from eight to thirteen
degree below normal.
