Tacoma, Jun 11. Leonard Olenn, a
mental pervert and victim of th
cigarette habit, has beep run to earth
here after being at larg for several
years with th authorities occasionally
looking for him. , Beven .ears ago
Olenn. who is married and I years of
age. began writing letters to the women
of the household of Nelson Bennett, a
capitalist, and one of the most promi
nent railroad contractors In Washing
ton. From letter writing Olenn began
ordering bouquets sent to the Bennett
home, and the habit grew on hint until
he often sent from six to seven letters
to the Bennetts In on day, mostly
writing to the Misses Bennett, but once
In a while writing letters and sending
bouquets to Mrs. Bennett The family
made numerous complaints and the au
thorities tried to catch Olenn, but he
was flying about over the state. In
