mately 3,000 men are thrown out of

Fire ' Burning One Hundred , Years.
I The Chequers Inn, . Osmotherley, Is a
relic of the old coaching days, but It la

been out for more than 100 years, and
over which girdle cakes are baked.

burning by peat -or turf from the Tork-
shire moors. An excellent tea Is pro

the girdle being suspended from a bar
