Terminal company at Catalla, Alaska, A pile driver has been blown up with dyna mite and troop have been asked for. Th railway and terminal company la headed by Dr. W. H. Bruner, an Alaska oil operator, well known in Portland. M. K. Rodgers, representing the Bru ner people, is , at . Valdes asking that troops be sent to Catalla bay to pre serve order and th tights of the Bruner- Railway oV ' Terminal company, which owns tha water front and town- sit at Martin's island, and th rights of way for a railroad leading from It to the Interior coal and oil fields It Is said th blowing up of th pile driver was th result of an attempt by th Northwestern - Railway company, backed by th Guggenheim, to con struct a trestle and railroad track over tha right of way held by th Bruner company. Tha latter' men were work ing on th property at tha time, and th Northwestern' men attempted to pro ceed by fore. ' When th nil driving crew- reached th edge of the right of way, the chief engineer and attorney of th company called the Bruner people and asked per mission to cross. The request was re fused, th Bruner men saying that an Injunction had 'been asked for -,- and granted, and that the papera were on their way - north.
