Skiff, who during regulation business hours presides as head office man over the figures and re ports of a leading department atore.. Skiff's splendid catch was made at Willamette falls in Oregon City. At 1:10 Thursday afternoon Mr. Skiff, ac companied by O. E. Wlghtman, started for Oregon City. He was back In his own home at 8:10 tha same evening, with one of the record catches of the season to his credit. The nsn was a royal chlnook salmon, measuring 4t Inches and tipping the scales at 89 pounda Mr. Skiff used a nine-ounce rod and a light silk salmon line, playing the giant fish for exactly 41 minutes be fore he could ba brought to the gaff and dispatched.
