Late Trains In Texas.
wrnm the Cleveland Plalndealer.
"The new law now tn operaUon In Texas
' to prevent late trains is a great tmng
"for the local travelers there, but oer

" " state slow.", said Bert Foster, who re
, cenUy returned from Tkaa.-
. The law Is that when s, ; train Is
marked up 80 minutes late at any of the
" larger' cities' another train must be
started on the regular schedule to take
care of the people who are waiting for
. the train. h For this reason there is
1 seJ4.adanger of having to wait several
jours f pr a train, out as tne aetayea

:. gers are forced to wait over mgni tor an
other train, and In a1 trip, across the
state one could easily , lose 14 hours.
The railroads could, run extra trains If
they 'wanted to, to accomodate through
traffic, but they are living up'only to
the letter of the law , In the hope that the
law may become obnoxious."
