The exposition grounds are at Herbert
JPajJc, about a mile and a auarter from
th business section of Dublin on the
jid w Diney in iana was recently
- presented to .the Pembroke , urban dis
trict by the Earl of Pembroke, one of
the vice-presidents of the exhibition. In
. commemoration of his son. Lord Her
bert. Altogether the grounds of the ex
position cover about 62 acres. .,-
. The buildings are large and ornate,
'and strictly consonant with the natural
.beauty of the park and of the beauties
ef Dublin and of Ireland In general. A
Jake, fountains and a wealth of shrubs
auid flowers form a beautiful setting for
tha magnificent structures. The main
entrance to the exhibition Is at Bal In
fer rage, -with other entrances on the
. .south side of the park, in the vicinity

Directly opposite the main entrance Is
tne, principal Dunomg, with a central
octagonal court. 215 feet in diameter.
cmrrounded by a corridor opening Into
roilr radial wings, each 164 feet long
ana so iei wiae. An. octagonal dome
towers pver the center of this building
to the , height of 160 feet. Pavilions
for tne Jtsritun, roreign and colonial ex
hlblta are grouped around this building,
and. then logically and artistically come
' the buildings for the motor cars, elec
tricity. Irish Industries, machinery and
. power bouses and dining and tea rooms.
Indications are already abundant that
the exhibition will draw hundreds of
thousands of visitors to Ireland for the
first time thls summer. It la-expected
too. that tha fair will form a niaknef
