heat. These "Eclipse" people have discovered the proper balance
to be observed between the fire chamber and the keatlar cham
bers in range building.' For, you know, the square of the oven
heating surface must eonform. in proper ratio te the square of
the firebox capacity, in all kinds of beating apparatus. It is
a scientific fact recognised by all builders of locomotives, en
gines,, furnaces, etc. ' ' .
I The surest and quickest baking range in the world. It makes cooking a pleasure.
The most perfect baking- can be obtained because the "Eclipse oven is built on
scientific principles, and the draft and grate regulations are of such simple and reliable
instruction. Its beat f eaturee-are found in no other-ranger -

shows the register open. When in this position
'there Is ne draft through' the range, and with the
front grate', closed the consumption of fuel practi
cally ceases. -Thls-.llttle device will enable you te
save one third of the fuel ordinarily used- without It.

able to lift the lid on the old-faahloned ranges. With this
"Eclipse" ratchet you ran broil or toast over sny kind of fire, sa
the smoke goes up the chimney. Then it Is easy to raise the
front section te lay the fire. It is a very elmple yet useful de
