' called to the attention of members of
the national board that he would not be
' eligible to row at the Worcester regatta,
as to compete an entrant must have,
been a member of-the dub for which
he rows at least three months,
.The B. A. A. officials proved luke
wann In the matter, almply stating that
they-knew Oreer had not been a mem
ber of the club three montha and that
no attempt would be made to have htm
' compete unless It wss the wish of the
committee In charge of the regatta. A
canvass of the members of the oommlt
tee and the boating men of the associa
tion shows that they, are In favor of
having Oreer compete and not lose his
championship by default.
