Cumberland. Presbyterian -church,' to
be held In thla city next week, notwith
standing a. majority of the delegatea

proposition. Tne opponents of tha plan
to unlta tha two denomlnatlona are pre
paring to pot-legal difficulties In tha
way and aa a "result It Is possible that
the proposed union may be delayed.

ground that tha Cumberland Presby
