He crossed the plains In 186 J, to Lane county, Oreson, and was married to- Barllda Duncan November 3. 1864. He moved to Lane county In 1875 and to Harney county In 1887. where he had realded up to the time of his death. He leaves besides his widow three sons, Charles, Fay end flldney, and one daughter, Mrs. C. A. Halnea, all of this county.
