scientific truths and generalxtrutbs
differ very muoh. They only differ
in extent and exaotnesa. From
a practical viewpoint this makes eonsld
arable difference. It should be remem
bered. ' however, that not even science
Is able te penetrate the real nature' of

most perfect microscope still remains
a human eye. It sees more than other
eyes, but It does not see In a different
manner. The scientist sees v certain
phenomena which escape our observa

are a closed book.
To demand a moral from science is
to give oneself over to cruel disappointments.-'
