The guests made up an early luncheon party, and' tha schema f decoration and entertainment sustained Mra Ladd's reputation for cleverness and originality. In tha center of the table waa a large white swan, the bas ket cavity containing large whita chrys anthemums, six small turkeys at one end of tha table were reined with red and white Tlbbona and driven toy the swan. Miniature footballs filled with red and white bonbons represented the place-cards, with ths names on red and white ribbon.
