Otto Prag, erstwhile newsboy, deputy
sheriff, special , policeman, playwright
and self -proposed 'candldat for United
State senator, is accused of appropri
ating funds collected for th Neweboys'
union. The complaint will be filed this
afternoon by Deputy District Attorney
Robert Oalloway and signed by Marlon
B. Johnson, clerk of the Juvenile ourt
The funds .that Prag Is accused of
taking were collected. It Is said, to be
expended for the entertainment of the
newsboy during their day at th Lewis
and Clark exposition, September I. Prag
says he collected 1101 and spent 121 for
the entertainment of " hi co-vrorkr.
Judge Eraser and Clerk M. EL' Johnson
ssy Prag collected III and spent III of
this sum for amusement purposes.
On September 4 an election was held
at the Juvenile courtroom by the News
boys' union. Prag was made president.
Probation Officers H. H. Haw ley. Marlon
R. Johnson and Lesley accompanied the
