Reaolved, That the council of the city of
Portland, Oregon, deems It expedient and pro
poses to Improve Kast Sixth street from tha
souin imaj ot tasr r.verett atreet to the north
line of East Oak atreet. by sradlnir the atreet
to the proper auligrade, laying sidewalks and
crosswalks and by constructing atone gutters,
snd by macadamising the roadway full width
with full Intersections, excepting the inters.

Improvement . of East Sixth street from the
south line of Bast Everett atreet to the north
line of Eaat Osk street snd ' the estimates
of the work to be. dons and tha probable total
cost thereof." .
The cost Of said Improvement to be Assessed
as provided by the city charter upon the
firoperty specially benefited thereby and which
s hereby declared to be all the lots, parts
of lots and parcels of land lying between a
Una 100 feet west of and parallel with the
west line of Esst Sixth street and Una 100
feet eaat nf and parallel with the east line
of East Sixth street snd between the south
