Portland. She Is coming here to load
grain for the Bay city. A cargo of 1,200
tons. eonslHtlng of wheat, onts and bar

and Kerr, Gilford A. Co.
The steamer belongs to the well
known Dollar lino of vessels. Frank
Wool.sey & Co. are her agents, and a
local representative of the firm statea
that It la quite probable the steamer
will be operated regularly between here
and San Francisco. If the proper In
ducements in the shape of cargoea are
offered, ho says, the matter will soon
be settled.
