dpne to favor the plan, and
should it shortly become an as
sured fact, the republicans will
feel indifferent as to legislation
during this session. The prin
cipal necessity for the extra ses
sion arises from the time con
sumed in organisation when
majorities are so small, and
from present indications, the
republican majority in the
House may be only one. The
republicans interested in the ex
tra session say that if it were
called in Anril. the Senate bill
