Mayor Kallooh Impeached.
San Francisco, April 4. At a meet,
in"- of the board of supervisors hist
evening the judiciary comraitee, who
had been instructed to take into con
sideration the utterances and addresses
of Mayor Kulloch and to report what,
if any. incendiary language he h-is used
publicly, and to report proper action to
be tak n by the board in the premi.es,
filed a long report reviewing the histo
ly of tho labor agitation and the part
borne in it by Kalloch, finding that he
lias encouraged a lawless and discoo
tented element, advised them to pa
rade the streets and endeavored to keep
them in such disprsition and tempera
ment as to commit an outbreak when
ever it slmuld suit his purposes; that
he has impeached the honesty of the
wlmle community, accused various
branches of the city government of cor
ruption and dereliction of duty, and
under pretense of counselling a mob
against violence insidouply advised
them to be in readiness for bloodshed
and overthrow of the authorities. They
expressed the opinion that Kalloch is j

"Good moruini. Mr. Edikor, how are
the folks to-day ?
I owe you for next year's paper I
thought I'd come and pay;
Aud Jones is agoin' to take it, and this
is his money herd;
I shut down ltMidin' itto him, and coax

"And hore'a a few little items that hap
pened last week in our town;
I thought they'd look good for the pa

And here's a basket of peaches my wife
picked expressly for you,
Aud a small bunch of flowers from Jen

"You're doing the locals finely, as all
our family agree;
Just keep your old goose quill a-flap-ping,
and give them a o jd one for me;
And now you are chuck full of business,

I'ts things of my own I muttend to

The editor sat ia liis sanctum, and

And they who have labored and rested

ground;
When they who have striven and suff

Shall march ot the lea 1 of the column,
each one in his God-giruo place;
As thoy march through the jzates of the
