IX SIEMORIUM. William Phillip Claflin was born Peh. 5th, 1829. He moved to Indi ana iu 1832-or-3, whro he remained till 1852, when became to the West. He had lived in Oregon boiU sixteen years when he died. April 27th, 1879, leaving a wife and three small chi'dren to mourn the lo-s of a loving husband and fnther.
