Notice is hereby given that I, tie undersigned, sheriff of Clatsop Coun ty, Oregon, pursuant to the writte request and authorization of the Co lumbia River Packers' Associatioa (a Corporation organized under the laws of Oregon) mortgagee, have taken into my custody the property described in that certain chattel mort gage executed on the 2nd day of August 1906. by F. Mercuric mortgager, to said Columbia Rivet Packers' Association, to sedure the sum of $511.00 and subsequent ad vances and on which debt, secured by said mortgage, there is now due and unpaid the sum of $745.68 and which property so taken into my custody are the following described chattels, to-wit:- On 25 foot fishing boat complete with appurtenances. Also one large mesh and one small mesh net with lines and appurtenances and I will, on the 12th day of May. 1909, at the hour of 10 o'clock in the forenoon of said day, at The George and Barker Cannery Plant in the city of Astoria in Clatsop County, State of Oregon, proceed to sell said chattels to the highest bidder for cash, or so muca thereof as shall be necessary to sat isfy said sum of $745-68 and the costs of foreclosure and sale including $75.00 attorney's fee. This proceeding is m accordance with the term of said mortgage which provides the manner in which said mortcaee may be foreclosed upon breach of its conditions, and by the terms ot said mortgage sam in debtedness became due and payaWe on the 31st day of March, 1909. , M.
