WASHINGTON, March Jl.-For the first time In a quarter of a century no Ohio Congressman will hold a House chairmanship unless there Is a change in the method of selecting committees. There are ilxty two committees in the House and Ohio hoi twenty one congressmen. Iowa, which less than ten yeara ago had the speakership, the chair manship of the big committees on rules, interstate and foreign com merce, public lands and military af fairs, in addition to two seats at the cabinet table and the chairmanship of the Senate committee on appro pnations, will be left with the chair manship of the House committee on military affairs as the only import ant chairmanship te be given her. Indiana will have but one chair manship, that of the census, but she will have only two Republican mem bers. New Jersey with only seven repub lican members will pro&ably have five chairmanships. In the New Hamp shire delegation 100 percent of the delegation have been chairmen for several years and such will doubtless continue to be the case throughout the 61st Congress Representative Sulloway is chairman of the com imlttce on pensions and Represents Bring in Your Want Ads To TWENTY WORDS OR LESS, ONE WEEK FIFTY CENTS PAYABLE IN ADVANCE v live Currier is the head of the com mittee on patents.
