Common Council of the City of As
toria, has declared its determination
and intention to improve 39th street
from a point 15 feet south of the
center line of Franklin avenue to the
center line of Grand avenue, by grad
ing the same to a width of 371 feet
along and through the center thereof
and by planking the same to a width
of 16 feet with 3-inch by 12-inch
lumber through the center thereof,
and the construction of a 4-foot side
walk upon the east side of the street
and the necessary provisions fot
drainage.
