The Daily Market Report
I'ORTLAND, Dec. 29. -Whether
the onion grower ot thli state will
market their crop this leaaon in the
usual way, the individual producers
acting for themselves, or dispose (
tb product aa a whole through an
Xgnt, or agents, appointed by the
federated growers, may be decided
todsy.
Representatives of the Federated
Onion Growers' Association from all
dittrlctt where this crop is grown in
a commercial way have arranged to
meet in this city this afternoon, at the
office of President Fanno of the as
sociation, to discuss the matter from
all points of view and take final ac
tion on the scheme proposed for the
dltposition of the 1908 crop.
"There is no poultry msrket today,"
was the comment of a Front-street
dealer. "The turkeys are gone, and
the demand also. We still have
plenty ot chickens, ducks and geete,
but the retailers are not In the mar
ket to buy stuff that would have to be
tarried over to Monday, to there it
nothing doing. For the time, I can
tee nothing to warrant any changes
from the last quotations on any line."
Oregon ranch eggs were quoted at
40 to 421 rente on the street today,
but in some quarters weakness was
reported and some dealers held that
It would be difficult to move even the
moderate stocks on hand st bettC-r
then 40 cent. Easterns still comprise

Beware of Frequent Colds.
A succession of colds or a pro
tracted cold is almost certain to end
In chronic catarrh, from which few
person ever wholly recover. Give
every cold the attention it deserves
and you may avoid this disagreeable
dlteate. How can you cure a cold?
Why not try Chamberlain' Cough
Remedy? It I highly recommend
ed, Mr. M. White, of Butler, Tenn.,
ays: "Several years ago I was
bothered with my throat and lungs.
Someone told me of Chamberlain's
Cough Remedy. I began using it
and K relieved me at once. Now my
throat and lungs are sound and
well." For sale by Frank Hart and
