THE MORNING ASTORIAN, ASTOIUA, OREGON. WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 2 The Daily Market Report PORTLAND, Sept. l.-Peach re ceipts today were the heaviest of the season thus far, according to the Board of Trade, which reports the arrivals for the day as approximately five carloads. There was evidence on the street today of a slight weakening in the market, but - the demand for peaches continues strong and with ac five prices were well maintained. The test Ashland, Dalles, Deschutes and Roseburg fruit is sold at 60c to 85c a box. The supply promises to be heavy all the week and perhaps next week as well. ; "In the Wilsonvilte, Butteville Champoeg, Hubbard, Woodburn, Sherwood and Middleton districts there is practicaly no trace of mold on the hops thus far this year," said Frank S. Johnson, of the J. W. Seav ev Hoc Company, today. "I have not in years seen the hops in these locali ties so free of mold as they are just now, and barring unfavorable weath er conditions between this time and the end of the picking season, the chances are for an unusually fine grade of hops in most of the yards, Flour.
