He Was a Grotesquo Figurt According
to This Picture.
The late Dr. Edward Vaughan Ke-
nealy, who appeared as counsel foi
the Tlchborne claimant, was well ac
quainted with many of the celebrities
of his time. In the memoirs which
his daughter una published there are
some piquant passages. Here la what

The true local time of any place Is
slower or faster than the standard
time, according as the place Is west
or east of the time meridian. Thus the
local time at Boston Is sixteen minutes
faster thnu eastern standard time,
while at Buffalo it Is sixteen minutes
