TRACK MEET AT STANFORD.
STANFORD UNIVERSITY, Mar.
27. The first year athletes of Stan
ford University and the blue and gold
will be the supremacy of the third
consecutive time in a dual track and
field meet this afternoon on the Ber
keley oval. This question has been
decided finally by the local managers
and the affair will take place In
spite of the adverse conditions ex
isting here at present.
This may be the only intercolleg
iate event of the host of spring con
tests planned this year in view of the
unsettled condition of the student
body and for this reason the clash
will attract more attention than it
would under more normal circumstances.
