SIMPLE HOME HADE
' MIXTDRES
WHICH ANYONE CAN PREPARE
RELIEVES RHEUMATISM
PROMPTLY BY FORCING THE
KIDNEYS TO FILTER THE
URIC ACID,'
To make up enough of the "Dande
lion treatment," which is claimed to
be relieving nearly every sufferer who
uses it for backache, kidney' com
plaint, sore, weak bladder and rheu
matism; get from any good prescrip
tion pharmacy one-half ounce Fluid
Extract Dandelion, one ounce Com
pound Kargon and three ounces Com
pound Syrup of Sarsaparilla. Shake
well in a bottle and take in teaspoon
ful doses after each meal and again
at bedtime.
Those who have tried it claim that
it acts gentle but thoroughly on the
kidneys, relieving backache and blad
der trouble and urinary difficulties al
most instantly. Many cases of rheu
matism are known to have been re
lieved within a few days, the pain
and swelling diminishing with each
dose.
A well-known local druggist, who Is
in a position to know, asserts that
this prescription, wherever it becomes
known, always ruins the sale of the
numerous patent medicine rheuma
tism cures, kidney cures, etc It is a
recipe which the majority of patent
medicine manufacturers, and even
certain physicians dislike to see pub
lished. Few cases, indeed, which will
fail to fully yield to its peculiarly
soothing and healing influence.
CHEAPER RATES TO WEST.
CHICAGO, March 20.-Travel to
and from California and the entire
Pacific coast will be cheaper this
summer than ever before during the
entire season. After a stormy ses
sion of the transcontinental passenger
association yesterday the Harriman
Lines and the Santa Fe gave inde
pendent notice that they would put
in summer tourist rates to the Pacific
Coast, effective between June and
October.
The notice came after an attempt
on the part of the Great Northern
and Northern Pacific to prevent sum
mer tourist rates being made, these
roads arguing that a minimum basis
of two cents a mile would be better
for the railroads. The Southern lines
insisted that the Pacific Coast should
be granted as favorable rates as the
Colorado common points. The basis
to be used for Colorado will.therefore
be the basis for the summer tourist
rates to all points west of Chicago.
Upon this basis the rates to this
coast will be about $2.50 cheaper
than last year. From Chicago the
rates for the round trip to all coast
points between San Diego on the
south and Vancouver on the iiorth
will be $72.50.
Given up to Die
B. Spiegel, 1204 N. Virginia street,
Evansville, Ind., writes: "For over
five years I was troubled with kidney
and bladder affections which caused
me much pain and worry. I lost flesh
and was all run down, and a year ago
had to abandon work entirely. I had
three of the best physicians who did
me no good and I was practically
given up to die. Foley's Kidney Cure
was recommended and the first bottle
gave me great relief, and after taking
the second bottle I was entirely
cured." Why not let it help you?
T. F. Laurin, Owl Drug Store.
