McGregor is published at the per
sonal solicitation of Mr. Abbott, and
speaks plainly for itself and the
party, , "i ;

and demand are timely and that the
best interests of the party will be
served by it confirmation at the band

of a ready and early compliance.

views, choice and purpose in the
coming campaign.

"There are, however, certain profes
sions which render special pockets
desirable. V
"Most people know what a 'poach

heard of a music pocket? Many pro

coat, just above the waist line, and
will hold half a dozen pieces of music
without crushing.
"Some detectives, too have their
business suits fitted with a handcuff
pocket or sleeve. The special advan
tage of this is that the manacles can
be withdrawn unseen. When an
obstreperous prisoner sees the offi
cer's hand seeking a pocket, he knows
what is coming, and act accordingly.
But with the special pocket the
'bracelets' are out and snapped on his
wrists before he can resist
