from the general fund. The attention

called to certain districts, asking that
truant officer be appointed, and it sp

G. A. Ncal was appointed superin
tendent of the draw bridge the former
superintendent having died. : The salary
will be 3 per month dating from
October 7.
The application of A. Ottborn for
purchase of land was denied.
Geo. Stevens, as surveyor, A. W. Dun
can and Henry Hills, of Hamlet, were
ordered to make a preliminary urvey,
with probable grades, and probable
costs of road to connect with Tilla
mook county road at the county line.
They were also ordered to meet at
Necanicura Pontolfice, on Monday Oct.
28.1007.
The court then adjourned for the
balance of the terra. The next meeting
will be on Wednesday, November 6.
