The men were taken to Unalajslca and transferred to the revenue cutter Thetis, a 1200-ton boat, which left that port on tbe six teenth for either Seward or Seattle. As no reports have been received that she stopped at Seward it Is thought that she steered straight for Seattle, where she is due today. It is expected that before another 24 hour full report of the wreck will be furnished. The prompt reply of the government shows that since the first news of the wreck was sent toVashington that the government has been working for the rescue of the men ever since. There are 110 white men in the party and 130 Japanese and Chinese. Most of them make their home here and have been in the emnlov of the Alaska Fishermen's Packing Company. WASHINGTON', Sept. 23.
