The new buyers, at a cost of .1500,000, will Immediately erect a big lumber plant at Quutttino Sound and a complete pulp and paper milk The pro. ducts will lie sold large to the mer chants of Japan snd Autrii1la. It is said that the Oregon paper mills at Willnmetts have offeivd to take 73 tons of pulp every day from the new concern. The greater part of Hie lumber cut on the island will be old to the Grand Trunk Railroad for ties and telegraph poles, and alo much sawed lumber for the building of towns along the route of the new tmnneontlnental line.
