Length Of Thaw Trial Has Filled Jail To Overflowing. NEW YORK. April 11. Owing to the length o' the Thaw trial and the consequent holt'ing up of other crlml nal prosecutions, the Tombs Is today holding the r'eatesl number of prison ers In Us hlsury. The warden makes no secret of the fact that It Is crowded far beyond Its capacity. There are 634 prisoners In the Tombs, about twice the number usually thp-re at this time of the year.
