Before the union wn organized the women ticket Boilers on the Lake Street Elevated rond received $1 a day, while the men ticket agents were paid $1.50 a day. Tho first agreement made between the union and the company Ret the wages of women ticket agents at $1.50 a day. , In the last contract the women ticket sellers wero advanced to $1.00 a day. whllo the men who are employed lu the sumo capacity receive $1.05.
