In the East Helena smelters of the American Smelting and Refining company the wages of common laborers were raised today. The banks here will pay out in dividends more than $65,000,000 today. Secretary Olsen, of the local Sailors' Union, has received a telegram from President Furuseth, business agent at Ran Fran cisco of the Sailors' XJnlon of the Pad flc coast, stating that the sailors strike on the PaclHc coast has bPen settled.
