SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 17.-The Call
snys today that F. A. Pickernall, assist,

Telephone &, Telegraph company of
Boston before leaving for the East
last night confirmed the statement
made previously that a complete change
in the management of the Pacific States
Telephone & Telegraph company would
take place in the near future.
According to Pickemall, Henry T.
Scott will be retained as president. He
admitted that a new man would fill the
position of Vice President and General
Manager Louis Glass, whoso successor, ens
under ground.
Announcement was also made of the
resignation of A, J. Stice,. who was as
sistant to General Manager Louis Glass.
This position is to be abolished. G.
P. Robinson has been appointed to fill
the newly created position of general
superintendent and E. J, Zimmer, for
merly auditor of the company, has been
made assistant to President Scott.
