ported favorably upon the claim here
tofore filed by R. A. Abbott, the clerk
was directed to issue and deliver war
rant in payment thereof. -
It was ordered that necessary lan
terns be purchased and placed in ser
vice upon the Young's River bridge.

County Clerk Clinton yesterday issu
ed marriage licenses in favor of the fol

committed yesterday and only awaits
transportation to Salem in custody of
asylum officers, who have . been dee
patched for him. Nelson waa committed
to the asylum on January 7, 19tt2, and
again on April 7, of the same year, and
it is probable be will be confined and
treated for sotn time under the preaeut
commitment aa ..his eae, need clone
and prolonged attention. Normally he
is a quiet, inoffensive, hardworking
citizen, married, and maintaining his
family correctly, but his attacks are so
sudden and violent aa to preclude much
further dallying with his awful malady.
The guards from the asylum are ex
pected here today to remove hiiu.
