The Record-Herald today says: Professor Taul Milyoukov. who was arrested at his old home near St, Petersburg yesterday in a raid by the czar's police was a professor of the University of Chicago until last March, when he returned to his native land to aid in the propaganda of-Russian liberty. Professor Mijyoukov defied th wrath of the Russian when he returned to St. Petersburg, for 11 years ago he was dis missed from a professorship in the Uni versity of Moscow, where he had re ceived his degree 'and at the same time he was banished 'from the czar's do main. His expulsion followed his active wrk toward reform. But undaunted by fate he knew awaited him he faced the old peril again and during his political sojourn in Russia, had been active in carrying out the work he had started years ago.
