but after a sharp chase, during which
the policeman used his revolver, one of

in the same direction. At Thirty-sixth

the car tracks and the heavy trolly car
struck it. The wagon was crushed to
pieces, Thomas Tandy, the driver, waa

and all the passengers were pitched to
the pavement. Fortunately none of
them waa fatally injured. j
